The Emory Undergraduate Linguistics Conference (EULC) has served as a platform for undergraduate linguistics students and recent graduates to share their research with a wider audience since 2020. This annual virtual conference usually takes place on the second-to-last Friday of April. The organization publishes conference proceedings and provides video recordings of all paper and poster presentations. All presented papers are eligible for publication in the Conference Proceedings.
I’m a junior studying Psychology & Linguistics at Emory University. I am interested in language acquisition, language attitudes, and semantics. I am currently involved in research related to health communication and how language background is related to health outcomes. Additionally, I am working on a metathesis project with Dr. Yun Kim and Dr. Dan Walter.
I am a senior at Emory University majoring in Psychology and Linguistics. My interests are primarily in the fields of sociolinguistics and psycholinguistics, understanding how language reflects and shapes social cognition. I am currently conducting research on articulatory mechanics in the Language Acquisition Lab, as well as working on an honors thesis project on political dog whistle expressions.
